Welcome!

We’re so excited to invite you to spend a wedding weekend with us in Duluth, Minnesota! This city means so much to us and is where our story really began. We hope you’ll turn it into a little getaway—explore the lake, enjoy the North Shore charm, and most importantly celebrate with us.

Our Story (Emily's Version)

The first time I saw Jack wasn’t the night we “officially” met—it was about six months earlier at a bar in Duluth. I walked right up to him and asked if he was the guy I’d seen around the CSS gym. (Bold move, I know.) We chatted for a few minutes, nothing major, but there was something about him that stuck with me. I went home that night and told my friends, “I’m going to find that guy and marry him.” I am sure they thought it was just a one time meet up, but fate had other plans. Fast forward six months. I was back in that same bar for one last weekend in Duluth before moving home after graduation. Jack just happened to be in town visiting friends. I might not have noticed him right away, but Alyssa—our mutual friend and now self-appointed matchmaker—sure did. She wasted no time pulling me over to say hi. The second we started talking, it felt different. The small talk from months before turned into an easy, natural conversation that neither of us wanted to end. Before the night was even over, we were making plans to see each other the very next weekend. And from that point on… we just didn’t stop. Since then, we’ve been inseparable—filling our lives with adventures, laughter, late-night talks, and a million little moments that have made our relationship what it is today. And now… three years and a couple of months after I first spotted him across that bar, we’re getting married. Turns out, my bold prediction was right all along.

Our Story (Jack's Version)

I had no idea that one ordinary trip to Duluth would lead me to the girl I can’t imagine life without, but that’s exactly what happened. Emily and I both went to The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, but somehow never met while we were there. Not long after graduation, I was back in Duluth for the weekend, hanging out with some college friends. Emily was in town too, soaking up one last weekend before moving home. That’s when Alyssa, our mutual friend, decided we had to meet. She introduced us at a local bar, and honestly, that was it for me. We started talking, and it felt like I’d known her forever. No awkward small talk, no trying too hard, just easy, effortless connection. Before the night was even over, we were making plans to see each other again the next weekend. From that night on, we’ve pretty much been inseparable, sharing adventures, laughing until our cheeks hurt, and building a life that feels like exactly where we’re supposed to be. Now, I get to marry my best friend, and spend forever with the girl I didn’t see coming, but can’t imagine life without.
