Centennial Park
Great place for a picnic.
Cedar Ridge Preserve
This place has a lot of nice trails! This was the first place we hiked together as just friends before we were courting. A bit less local as it is further south, but still very nice if you have the time.
Rochelle Ponds
We've enjoyed Sunday strolls around this area! Nice local area. There is a small parking lot on the northbound side of Rochelle Blvd., just south of Northgate Drive which is the intersecting road. (To get to the parking lot, you need to head as if you are going south on Rochelle towards Wingren road before which you will hit a small left turn around that takes you northbound on Rochelle.
Lake Carolyn
We went on a walk here around Lake Carolyn and this is where Jack asked Elizabeth if he could court her! They got ice cream at Creamistry, which is very near by in this same area. They've enjoyed many more walks here!
