Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Carey Daly and Jack Ford

Hannah Mitchell

Maid of Honor

Hannah and I met on the very first day of freshman year of college when she randomly popped her head into my dorm room—and thank goodness she did! We became best friends shortly after that. She’s been such a special, steady part of my life, and I’m so grateful to have her by my side as one of my maids of honor.

Eric Grimm

Best Man

Eric and I met on the very first day of college, when my freshman-year roommate, Jack Cohrs, went to visit his high school friend—who just so happened to be Eric’s freshman-year roommate. From that point on, we became fast friends. Being the studious scholars we were, we even went to the library together our first Thursday on campus—also our first and last time doing that. Since then, Eric and I have remained best friends, even living together for two years after graduating from UD. Eric has always been the solid, dependable guy I can turn to, and I’m incredibly honored to have him standing next to me on Carey and my big day

Liz Schuler

Maid of Honor

Liz and I were college roommates for all four years (that includes sharing a room!), and we’ve basically been inseparable since day one. She’s one of my absolute favorite people to laugh with since we share a sense of humor which definitely lead to plenty of late nights and chaotic moments. I’m so happy to have her as one of my maids of honor and can’t imagine this day without her.

Jack Cohrs

Groomsman

Jack Cohrs and I met on the school’s app before coming to Dayton and ended up as freshman-year roommates. We hit it off right away, both being Chemical Engineers. We spent countless nights watching movies (despite Jack not always agreeing with my very specific movie-watching rules, that movies need to be made after the year 2000) playing games, and mostly just laughing. Jack and I even lived together again during our fifth year at UD. He’s always good for a perfectly timed one-liner, is an awesome guy to hang out with, and someone you can always depend on.

Samara Perkinson

Bridesmaid

Samara and I met in college through our business fraternity, and while we were close friends throughout those years, our friendship truly turned into a lifelong bond when we lived together in Chicago after graduation. From countless glasses of wine, trying new restaurants, shopping trips on Southport to yapping sessions that always end in laughter, she has been by my side through it all. I’m so incredibly grateful to call Samara one of my best friends and couldn’t imagine this season without her.

Owen Corsi

Groomsman

Owen and I met the day I was born. There’s an urban legend that the first time we ever met, we were already banging our heads against the wall. Growing up, Owen and I got into all kinds of mischief, tearing up the neighborhood together. He’s the kind of guy who’s always good for a laugh, always stands up for his friends, and is just an all-around solid person to have by your side.

Tayler Sain

Bridesmaid

Tayler and I first met freshman year of college, though we were more acquaintances than close friends at the time. It wasn’t until after graduation when Samara, Tayler, and I all moved to Chicago and lived together on Eddy Street, that our friendship truly blossomed. Tayler is such a light to be around, and we quickly bonded over trying new restaurants, movie nights, and shopping trips on Southport. I’m so grateful we had the chance to live together, because it brought me one of my best friends!

Michael Swartz

Groomsman

I met Michael in our freshman year History class, where we quickly bonded over late-night study sessions. That time together turned into a great friendship, especially after we lived together for three years in college. Michael has always been relentlessly positive, quick with a joke, never afraid to call you out when needed, and always down for a party. He’s genuine, upbeat, and someone who makes everyone around him better, which makes celebrating this next chapter with him all the more special.

Maria Claiborne

Bridesmaid

Maria was also one of my college roommates, and the reason my hair looked good at least half of the time! She is such a positive presence to be around and is always up for a good time. Maria has the biggest heart and is constantly thinking of others, going out of her way for the people she loves. She also happened to be a pretty talented mixologist back in the day, which led to a few unforgettable nights… and a few we don’t remember at all. I’m so grateful to have her by my side.

Palmer Holcomb

Groomsman

Palmer and I met when we were younger in our neighborhood. Later in life, he made the questionable decision to marry my sister—and has been an absolutely awesome addition to our family ever since. Palmer is always the guy to go to for great travel and restaurant recommendations, someone to watch F1 racing with on vacation, and the person you want explaining the difference between probability and odds.

Megan McNelly

Bridesmaid

Megan and I were college roommates, and when we were left alone together, we had a tendency to find ourselves in a bit of trouble. If you run into Megan, be sure to ask her about the Chipotle trip we had after a day drink sophomore year, it’s a story that still makes us laugh. Megan never fails to put a smile on my face, and I’m so thankful that Dayton brought us together and gave me a friend I’ll cherish forever.

Davis Daly

Groomsman

Davis is my older brother, and growing up, we could be like oil and water. Now, I like to think of us more as oil and vinegar—different, but a great pair. Davis is someone I know will always have my back. While he has an acerbic wit, it has soften over time. I’ve always looked up to him, and I’m so happy to have him standing with us on our big day.

Erin Holcomb

Bridesmaid

Erin is my older sister, which means she’s always been the chauffeur, the Olive Garden sponsor, and the reason our parents still think we’re thoughtful gift-givers at Christmas. I’ve always looked up to Erin, and despite all the free rides and pasta, she’s had an enormous impact on shaping me into the man I am today.

Joe Daly

Groomsman

Joey is my younger brother and someone I’ve always been incredibly close to. From car rides to school to grabbing dinner at Tijuana Flats (if you know, you know), Joey was always down for anything. I’m so grateful to have him in my life and couldn’t be happier to have him standing with us on our wedding day.

Katie Ford

Bridesmaid

Katie is my little sister, which of course means she was my favorite person to tease growing up. Somehow, she survived that and turned into a constant bundle of joy and the biggest jokester in the family. If laughter were a sport, Katie would be going pro.
