We're Getting Married!

Our story began freshman year at the University of Dayton, thanks to a few mutual friends who thought we might hit it off, and they were right! After one unforgettable night at Carey’s business fraternity end-of-year party, everything changed. From that moment on, we’ve been together ever since. The early years of our relationship were spent at what we like to call the happiest place on earth - the University of Dayton. From Sunday Church dates to Music Bingo nights at Tim’s, so many of our favorite memories (and friendships) were made there. After graduation, life took us in different directions, and we spent the next three years navigating long distance. Carey moved to Nashville and later to Chicago, while Jack stayed in Dayton before moving to Cleveland. It wasn’t always easy, but we made it work with nightly FaceTime calls, monthly visits, and plenty of flights...thanks, United! When long distance was finally coming to an end, we decided to celebrate with a trip of a lifetime to Spain and Portugal. On our first full day abroad, very early in the morning, Jack got down on one knee and proposed. The rest of that week felt like a dream — exploring historic cities, sharing incredible meals, tasting plenty of wine, and soaking in every moment of being newly engaged. Now, we couldn’t be more excited to bring all the people we love together — back at the place where it all began. Dayton has always held a special place in our hearts, and it feels only right to celebrate the next chapter surrounded by the family and friends who have supported us along the way. To make it even more special, our wedding day will mark seven years together — a full circle moment in the place where our story started.
