Not your typical "Things to Do"- but the famous Honi Honi Bar is fun for everyone! The parents can grab a drink or app while the kids run around in the large grass/ play ground area. Blair grew up running around this bar, and it is definitely worth checking it out!
Absolutely beautiful place to go for a walk and spend the afternoon! Keep in mind it is a State Park and will cost money to park.
The fall is a bit of an off season for the mountain, but if the weather is nice you can golf here, frisbee golf, and even mountain bike. Our favorite thing to do in the off season is to go hike the mountain. You can make it as easy or as hard of a hike as you want!
This is a super fun place to bring the younger kids. Mini golf, go kart, and laser tag!
Accident is a tiny town, but has a lot of character. If you need something to do on Friday this may be a great location to try some local cheese and wine!
Blairs favorite coffee spot!
Keep in mind there is no Starbucks around, so local coffee is your only choice! This is another crowd favorite.
The best pizza in town!
Another great pizza place. This location is attached to the Honi Honi Bar and has great food!
Wood-fire pizzas, home-brewed beer and a casual atmosphere that welcomes groups and families. Also, outdoor seating with a great view of the sunset!
"Eat Real Food" is their motto. Vegan, gluten free, locally-sourced, and pescatarian menu items available, along with weekly features, a spacious bar area, occasional live music, and Sunday brunch. Great for lunch, great for dinner and great for drinks!
A Deep Creek staple and go-to place for ice cream at the lake! They have a ton of flavors and serve giant sundaes. But be warned, you could find a long line the line. (Not because they’re inefficient, but because everyone loves this place!) The weekend of the wedding will be one of the lasts it is open!
The best donuts and sandwiches!!
Bring your clubs! The course is beautiful in the fall and you may even see a bear!
This easy hike offers beautiful views of rock formations, rock climbing and bouldering. It is on the backside of Wisp Resort, near Lodestone Golf Course.
Take a drive around the Savage River Reservoir! It is beautiful!
Great Craft Beer! No food though so be sure to bring your own.
