Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

La Aurora International Airport Guatemala City (GUA). The airport is about 25 miles away from our venue town.

Where should I book my stay?

Answer

Our suggested hotel is: Hotel Casa Santo Domingo. If you want to be more comfortable and not worry about traveling during the day of the wedding we suggest you stay at Casa Santo Domingo which is the same place where our party reception will take place. We understand Santo Domingo can be a bit more expensive so we suggest you look into airbnb and priceline to locate all the other beautiful options around Antigua.

Will transportation services be available from the airport?

Answer

Because we have a large group of family and friends traveling from all over the world, we can't coordinate shuttle services from the airport. However, Hotel Soleil and Hotel Casa Santo Domingo do offer shuttle service at an extra charge. We recommend booking your stay with either of those hotels to make your airport transport easier.

What's the easiest way to get to the venue from the airport?

Answer

We highly suggest you book a hotel or Airbnb in Antigua Guatemala that offers shuttle services. This will allow you to not worry about having to drive. Once in Antigua there are a lot of shops and restaurants that are at walking distance or you can use Uber. There are also multiple transportation services through Viator that you can look into. Another option is renting a car, however keep in mind that traffic in Guatemala City can be very heavy and it can cause some stress, specially if it's your first time in Guatemala. Getting an Uber from the airport is another option but keep in mind that the venue town is 25 miles from the airport and it might be harder to locate an Uber driver willing to do this commute.
