Which airport should I fly into?
Answer
La Aurora International Airport Guatemala City (GUA). The airport is about 25 miles away from our venue town.
Question
Where should I book my stay?
Answer
Our two suggested hotels are: Hotel Casa Santo Domingo and Hotel Soleil. If you want to be more comfortable and not worry about traveling during the day of the wedding we suggest you stay at Casa Santo Domingo which is the same place where our party reception will take place. We understand Santo Domingo can be a bit more expensive so we suggest you look into Hotel Soleil as well. Airbnb is also an option or you can look into all of the other beautiful hotels located in Antigua Guatemala.

Will transportation services be available from the airport?
Answer
Because we have a large group of family and friends traveling from all over the world, we can't coordinate shuttle services from the airport. However, Hotel Soleil and Hotel Casa Santo Domingo do offer shuttle service at an extra charge. We recommend booking your stay with either of those hotels to make your airport transport easier.

What's the easiest way to get to the venue from the airport?
Answer
We highly suggest you book a hotel or Airbnb in Antigua Guatemala that offers shuttle services. This will allow you to not worry about having to drive. Once in Antigua there are a lot of shops and restaurants that are at walking distance or you can use Uber. Another option is renting a car however keep in mind that traffic in Guatemala City can be very heavy and it can cause some stress, specially if it's your first time in Guatemala. Getting an Uber from the airport is another option but keep in mind that the venue town is 25 miles from the airport and it might be harder to locate an Uber driver willing to do this commute.

Will shuttle services be available on the day of the wedding?
Answer
Yes- There will be shuttles from Casa Santo Domingo and Hotel Soleil at 2:30 PM which will take guests to the church. Shuttles will also be available at the end of mass to transport guests to Casa Santo Domingo. At the end of the party reception there will be one final shuttle time that will take guests to Hotel Soleil. This service is for all guests, regardless if you are staying at Hotel Soleil or at Casa Santo Domingo. Keep in mind that pick up times will be limited so if you are unable to make it to one of the shuttle times we suggest getting an Uber which is very affordable in Antigua.
