When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by December 3, 2022. We’d love to not have to hassle you during the holidays over your meal option!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes - black tie optional, personality encouraged. We'll be dressed as best as we've ever been. Examples: Gown, cocktail dress, jumpsuit, tuxedo, suit and tie

What is the schedule of events for the wedding?

Doors open: 3:30pm Ceremony: 4:00pm Cocktail Hour: 4:30-5:30pm Reception: 5:30-9:30/10

Can I bring a date?

Our venue has a limited capacity so unfortunately we can’t accommodate additional guests.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids but our venue has a strict capacity, we will be limiting guests to those explicitly invited.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Essex has free parking on-site. If you’re staying offsite we recommend taking an Uber or Lyft as additional parking for non-guests may be limited.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

All wedding weekend activities will take place at The Essex Resort. Accommodations are available on-site via our wedding block so no transportation is needed. If you are planning to stay elsewhere in Vermont there are ride shares available and are very reasonably priced. We do recommend staying at The Essex Resort so you can party the night away!

Can you accommodate a dietary restriction/allergy?

Absolutely! Please let us know when you RSVP both for yourself and any members of your party.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

The reception will have an open bar. Please drink responsibly. If you are planning to join us for the after party please bring a wallet. The after party is conveniently located within The Essex Resort so you can always stop by your room to grab it on your way.
