FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We invite guests to dress in semi-formal garden attire for our summer celebration in the flower garden. Bright colors, florals, and joyful patterns are encouraged. Women may wear midi or maxi dresses, especially florals. Men may wear dress shirts and slacks with optional jackets or ties. Guests (non-groomsmen) may wear any suit color except black.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we would love to invite everyone, our venue capacity is limited. We kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. If you’re unsure whether your plus one is included, please feel free to reach out and ask.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we dearly love all the children in our lives, due to space limitations, only the children specifically named on the invitation will be able to attend. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

How early should I arrive?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to arrive 20–30 minutes before the ceremony to ensure a smooth start and time to find seating.

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

You can list dietary needs when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Question

Will the ceremony or reception be outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors at Panola Valley Gardens. The reception will take place under a charming pavilion, and in case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved under there as well. While there’s no A/C, the pavilion sits atop a hill with a lovely breeze, and we’ll be providing hand-held fans to keep everyone comfortable.

Question

Will alcohol be served at the wedding?

Answer

We’ll be celebrating with a dry wedding. We kindly ask that no alcohol be brought to the venue. Thank you so much for understanding and celebrating with us!
