Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, there is a Welcome Party Friday evening. All guests are welcome and encouraged to attend. See the "Schedule" tab for more info.

What is the dress code for the Welcome Party?

Answer

Smart Casual Attire Gals: Casual dress, jumpsuit, slacks/sweater, skirt etc. Guys: Jeans/khakis, button down, polo. Blazer if you want to get fancy!

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Semi Formal Attire Gals: Mid length/tea length/floor length dresses. We will be in the grass, so maybe leave the stilettos at home! Guys: Suit and tie.

Will there be transportation provided for the weekend?

Answer

Welcome Party: Whiskey Kitchen is located centrally in downtown Raleigh. If you are staying in downtown Raleigh at one of the suggested hotels, the party should only be a short walk or rideshare away. Transportation not provided. Wedding: Buses will be picking up guests from the AC Hotel and the Tempo Hotel prior to the wedding. Buses will be available throughout the evening to take guests back to downtown Raleigh if they need to leave early. All buses will return to downtown Raleigh at the end of the night.

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes! Our wedding ceremony will be outside rain or shine, chilly or balmy. Reception will also be outdoors under a tent. Please dress accordingly!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at the wedding/reception venue but it is very limited. We highly recommend the provided transportation from downtown Raleigh or a Rideshare service.
