Getting to Sun Valley

To arrive in Sun Valley, the closest airport is Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) in Hailey, which is approximately 20 miles from Sun Valley Resort. If you are staying at the Sun Valley Resort and flying directly into Sun Valley, the resort offers complimentary airport shuttles which can be arranged prior to your arrival. An alternative option is to fly into the Boise Airport (BOI), approximately 150 miles from Sun Valley Resort. The scenic drive from the airport to the resort typically takes around 2.5 hours. For those planning to fly into Sun Valley, we suggest purchasing your tickets at least 5 months in advance. If you're considering driving from Seattle it typically takes around 10 hours.

There are two other weddings at the resort that weekend, so we encourage you to book as soon as you can. Our room block rate provides cancellation up until 7 days before your reservation date and requires a deposit of one night's charge to hold. Sun Valley Resort The Sun Valley Resort is made up of the Lodge, Inn, Cottages and Condos. We'll be staying in the Lodge, if you'd like to book nearby. If you are traveling and want to stay as a group, the cottages are a great option and provide you with access to the resort's amenities.
