Taxi: Best Choice! Under a 10 minute ride from Downtown Norfolk- grab an Uber or Lyft! Walk/Bike: In Ghent the walk is 5-15 minutes. From Downtown Norfolk it's about a 40 minute walk, but only 15-20 minutes by bike! The Light Rail: Take to Fort Norfolk/Medical Station, from there it's about a 15 minute walk. Car: If you choose to drive, there is street parking available with a guest parking permit. We will hand out permits when you arrive. Please, DON'T DRINK & DRIVE, there are plenty of other transportation options available!
We love your kids, we really do, but the Mansion has limited space so the reception is adults only. That being said, they are more than welcome at the ceremony. We are coordinating with a couple babysitters in the area, if you need a sitter for the night let us know and we'll help to set it up! Exception: If your baby is still breastfeeding you are welcome to bring them along!
