The ceremony and reception will take place at the Videre Estate which is located at 725 Burnett Ranch Rd, Wimberley, TX 78676. Wimberley is a small town in a beautiful part of Texas Hill Country located ~45 minutes southwest of Austin. If you plan to stay in or around Wimberley, we would suggest booking an Airbnb, VRBO, or Cabin rental in the area. There are also some local hotels (that we have linked in the "Travel" tab). If availability is limited or you prefer to book at a chain hotel, we would suggest booking at one of several hotels in nearby Dripping Springs or San Marcos (roughly 25-30 minutes from the venue). The dress code for our wedding is southern-formal or cocktail attire. Think mid-length cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat. Please keep in mind that it will be the start of summer in Texas, so we recommend wearing something breathable.
For those flying into Austin, Austin-Bergstrom International airport is ~50 minutes from Wimberley with light traffic. The fastest route will likely be to take highway 71 west to I-35 South (towards San Antonio) exitting in Kyle (exit 215). Alternatively, you may travel further along Highway 71 / 290 West until Dripping Springs and then turn south on Highway 12 into Wimberley. There will be plenty of free parking available at the venue for those driving. Ride sharing options (Uber, Lyft, Feti, etc.) should be readily available on the way to the wedding, however, driver availability may become limited later in the night.
It will likely be pretty warm outside during May in Texas so we recommend dressing appropriately. We will do our best to ensure you spend as little time outside as possible!
Yes! We will have a zoom option for those who are unable to attend in person and would still like to view the ceremony live. Please reach out to us directly if you would like to receive the zoom link.
Per the venue's policy, no outside alcohol is permitted on the property, however, there will be an open bar service throughout the evening.
