Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate guests who have received a formal invitation. Each invitation is issued in your name and includes your designated guest(s). When you RSVP, you will see the full list of guests associated with your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, our wedding weekend will be an adults only celebration so everyone can fully relax and enjoy the evening. Children of immediate family and the wedding party will be included by invitation. We hope this advance notice allows you to plan a special night out, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm. We recommend you aim to arrive by 4:00 pm to ensure you have time to find a seat prior to the ceremony start.

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Knightdale, North Carolina. Bethlehem is the Church Izzy grew up attending with her family, including her beloved Grandaddy (Daddy) and Mimi. Although her Grandaddy passed this year and will not be physically present, Izzy believes his spirit will be felt throughout the day. This church and its congregation were very special to him, and celebrating here is a heartfelt way to honor his memory. We hope you will feel the beauty and sacredness of this meaningful place as we gather together.

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception will take place at Caffé Luna in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. Caffé Luna was a favorite date night spot for Izzy and Trey during their time in Raleigh, and it holds so many special memories. We are so excited to share one of our favorite places with our favorite people.

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are indoors.

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation between the ceremony and reception venues. Bethlehem Baptist Church and Caffé Luna are approximately a 20-minute drive apart. We recommend carpooling or using Uber or Lyft for easy transportation between locations.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample complimentary parking available at the ceremony venue, and vehicles may be left overnight if needed. For the reception, free street parking is available and cars may also be left overnight. However, street parking in downtown Raleigh can be limited, especially on weekends. Guests may also park in the Wilmington Street Parking Deck, accessible from both Wilmington Street and Blount Street. Please note that this garage charges hourly rates, which vary depending on the day and time. For convenience, we recommend leaving your car at your hotel and using Uber or Lyft to travel to and from the reception.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional garden party. Think formalwear meets an enchanted summer garden. Women: Midi or floor-length gowns in vibrant colors, florals, and romantic textures. Think ruffles, frills, movement, and garden-inspired elegance. Men: Tuxedos or dark suits are welcome. We would love to see you pair these with colorful bow ties or floral ties.
