Maid of Honor
I met Sara when we were attending Adler University. She is the wonderful human who was the first person to help me come out of my shell and truly live life. She introduced me to mimosa's, kindness and love without judgment, and being a strong woman without taking crap from others. She also lets me organize and assemble furniture, which is my absolute favorite! Plus, she played a significant role in Justin and I meeting and falling in love.
Bridesmaid
Taylor and I met while we attended Adler University. She is my musical theater partner in crime. The woman who just gets me and is always down for a random sing-along on the train, ghost-hunting downtown, or attempting to see all musicals! Plus I always feel just a bit cooler being around her as she has an incredible fashion sense.
Bridesmaid
America and I met while we attended Midwestern University. She is my co-amateur chef, venting partner, and consistent supporter of my off-the-wall ideas. I think 14 hours to cook tamales was completely reasonable. We don't discuss the drunken noodles incident, but we both know who's to blame....it was the kids!!!
Bridesmaid
Ciara and I met while on internship for our doctoral programs. She is the first person to ever get me to do karaoke—we absolutely made The Rock proud with that one. The woman who helped me find confidence in both my work and my person when I didn't think it was possible. Plus, she is always down for a random adventure!! Sadly, Bru can't make it to the wedding, but he is an honorary member of the wedding party! Justin is still convinced she was making up rules to win at Euchre.
Bridesmaid
Eleanor and I met 14 years ago when this amazing young woman, my niece, was born. She will forever and always be far cooler than her aunt!! She is an intelligent, funny, creative, incredibly cool, and kind woman who I am lucky enough to call my niece! While she may not remember it, I still support us starting our business, Princess Cleaning Ladies Inc.
Bridesmaid
Caitlin and I met when she made my brother one of the luckiest men around by dating and then marrying him. She will always make you feel like you are the most special person in the world all while making you laugh uncontrollably. She is a talented artist regardless of the canvas. Not only is she a bridesmaid, but she is also the make up artist for the bridal party. Only she could pull off both roles! I'm incredibly blessed to have her as a sister-in-law!!
Flower Lady
Emily and I met while on internship for our doctoral program. She played a significant role in my sanity surviving, well... mostly surviving, that year and has been a significant source of support in my life since. She can always be counted on for a fun adventure and to commiserate when attempting to learn Euchre. Emily is incredibly kind, intelligent, and an incredibly supportive friend!!
Best Man
I met Tim at college. We had some friend circles that overlapped and we ended up hanging out more often. The rest is history. It's not uncommon for us to start laughing at some stupid thing so hard we cry and can't breathe. He's an amazing dude and I'm honored to have him as my best man.
Groomsman
Paul is Tim's (my best man) younger brother. I've known Paul since he was a kid and have watched him grow up to be a great dude. He's always down for a good, belly laugh. I can't imagine anyone else to be by my side during the best day of my life.
Groomsman
John is one of my good friends from my previous workplace. He was part of the "Banana Break Club" where we'd take our 15 minute break to pitch terrible but weirdly feasible business ideas. John makes a mean BBQ, especially smoked turkey breast and bacon wreaths, and will be bringing that awesomeness while by my side for my wedding.
Groomsman
Jonathan is one of my good friends from my previous workplace. A member of the exclusive "Banana Break Club", he has a legendary wit and sense of humor that I'm so happy that he'll be bringing to my wedding as my groomsman. (fyi, his patent for carbonated ranch is still pending)
Groomsman
Derek is my youngest brother. We have a very similar sense of humor and send stupid memes to each other all the time. I'm proud to have such a supreme brochacho to stand with me at my wedding.
Groomsman
Jason is my second youngest brother aka the middle child. I love having intellectual conversations with him one minute then talking about something stupid the next. He's an ex-Navy man and I'm proud to have him as my bröther standing with me at my wedding.
Flower Lady
Vanessa is Tim's, my best man, sister. We officially met when I moved in with her and Tim (along with some others) in Edgewater, Chicago, to get my first taste of the city life! Since then, we've been great friends. She's a wicked smart firecracker that brightens a room with her contagious laugh and high energy.
Ring Security
Ryan and I met a long, long time ago, in Chicago, when I was born. I wouldn't trust anyone other than my big brother as ring security for our wedding. He is hilarious, kind, creative, talented, compassionate, and he could easily protect the ring by making the person laugh uncontrollably! I have no idea how many times this man has made me laugh so hard I forgot to breathe. Plus, all of his incredible artwork is splattered all over the walls of our home, adding to what I like to think of as our cool factor.
Mother of the Bride
The intelligent and brave woman who created me. She encouraged me along the way and ensured I understood how people should be treated, what it means to be kind and compassionate, the importance of tipping, and the importance of fighting injustices when you see them.
Father of the Groom
The man I hope to be when I grow up, I can't imagine anyone else being my dad. He has a great taste in music and is the rock to my roll. Love you, pops!
Mother of the Groom
My mom is always down for a good hug and loves to tell great (and sometimes wild) stories. She's provided me with emotional support in my life and has helped make me the man I am today. I love you, mumsies!
Honor Attendant
Due to prior obligations and recent legal challenges, Purrmione is not able to attend her cat mom and rat dad's wedding. However, she wanted it to be made very clear that she is still the most important being in Justin and Aubrey's lives, regardless of what Dobby may have told anyone.
Honor Attendant
Due to his inability to stop begging for food and screaming in his cat mom and rat dad's faces, Dobby was kindly encouraged not to attend the wedding. However, he wanted to ensure he was acknowledged in some way and suggested this post with his favorite picture of himself would suffice.
