Where is the ceremony and reception being held?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Riverside Reception in Geneva, IL. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be just outside the venue in their brick-paved courtyard, and the reception will be held on their upper level. For those with mobility restrictions, an elevator is available to access the upper level. The venue's address is: 35 N. River Ln. Geneva, IL 60134

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please allow enough time for parking and locating your seat. As our ceremony will take place in the courtyard outside the venue entrance, if you were to arrive late, you would walk right into the ceremony. We want to make sure everyone is settled in before we say "I Do."

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking for all phones and devices to be turned off and put away during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer and videographer to capture this moment for all of us. After the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos as you want! #2HeartsBecomeHartmans

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is cocktail attire. Our wedding colors are jewel tones, including emerald green, burgundy, amethyst purple, navy blue, and gold. If you'd like, feel free to match the wedding colors, but it is not required. When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1, 2025. RSVP's are accepted here, on our website, or you can return your RSVP card to the address listed on the card. If mailing your RSVP card, please be sure to list the names of all parties attending.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are happy to welcome plus ones for our guests. Please note, this has been defined in our guest list and can be seen when you RSVP. If you wish to invite more than what is defined in your RSVP, please reach out to Justin or Aubrey.

What if I forget to RSVP?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by the deadline, you will unfortunately not be able to attend the wedding. To avoid missing out on all the fun, please make sure to RSVP by the date listed on your invitation.

Is this wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside in the brick courtyard just outside the venues front door. The cocktail hour and reception will take place inside the venue on the upper level. In the case of inclement weather, the entire event will be moved indoors. Please note that for individuals with mobility restrictions, there will be an elevator to access the upper level. For any other accommodations, please reach out to Justin or Aubrey.

How can I share the photos I took at the wedding?

Answer

If you are uploading any of your photos to social media, make sure to use our hashtag #2HeartsBecomeHartmans. There will also be QR codes on each table throughout the reception area that will allow you to share your pictures with everyone. Along with the QR code will be fun photo challenges that we encourage everyone to participate in.

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! The venue has a large parking lot for wedding guests.

What should I do in the event I am no longer able to attend?

Answer

We completely understand that unexpected things happen. Please let Justin or Aubrey know as soon as your plans change so we can make the necessary updates with our catering team.

What kind of fun activities will there be at the wedding?

Answer

We have hired a caricature artist and a photobooth. We would love all of our guests to participate.
