Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children but the venue is an adults only resort so we kindly request that no children attend the wedding or reception. If you are running into childcare challenges, let us know and so we can help on a solution since you are such an important person to us.

What are other hotel/lodging options?

Answer

If not staying at the Viceroy or Petit LaFitte, there are many other possibilities nearby. The Mayakoba resort complex is basically next door and has Andaz and Fairmont options that run between $350-450/night. Otherwise there are Airbnb/VRBO options in and around Playa del Carmen that would be <15 minutes away via taxi.

What if I want to stay longer?

Answer

Our hotel rate will be extended for the day before festivities start (April 27) and the five days after (May 1-5). The hotel recommends booking these in advance as you can always release prior to the wedding if your plans change. Please reach out to Jacqueline Martinez (jacqueline.martinez@viceroyhotelsandresorts.com) for assistance in booking additional days.

What is beach cocktail?

Answer

Great question! For men, we suggest a summer suit but no ties needed. For women, we suggest a dress that you'll be comfortable in the heat and that you can dance the night away in! We will likely be near the beach so heels may be tricky -- fancy sandals and wedges welcome!

How do we get to the hotel?

Answer

The resort is approximately 45 minutes away from the airport. There are several reliable shuttle and cab options at the airport. Many of them allow pre-booking and we encourage sharing transportation with friends!

Are there any other events that I should plan for?

Answer

All scheduled wedding events are listed on our events page and we would love for you to join us for all of them! There are tons of sights and activities to see if you want to adventure on your own but we will be sharing some ideas in the coming months on our Things to Do tab.

Will the hotel have Covid testing onsite?

Answer

Pending this is still needed to enter the US in April 2022, the hotel will have onsite Covid testing.
