We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Just like any good millennial couple, we met on the dating app Hinge in 2019. After matching, however, Brian was quite hopeless when it came to responding or finding time to meet up with Ivy. Weeks later (like lots of weeks later), a time finally opened up the Friday of Labor Day Weekend and they met at Rickhouse in San Francisco's Financial District for a drink...on what might have been the hottest day of the year. They had instant chemistry and kept the conversation going all weekend -- leading to 4 dates over the next week. Said dating app was deleted when it soon became clear there was something special and they both told their parents about this other person who they were spending all this time with (which for Brian was a new thing). We knew early on that this was something different and we are so happy to be where we are now!

We both knew we wanted to spend our lives together so when the proposal planning started, Brian knew he had to throw Ivy off his tracks since being together 24/7 during a global pandemic didn't create many opportunities for surprises. Brian got two of our best friends to ask us to dinner to create a diversion. He spent the few weeks leading up to the proposal going on long runs to the Golden Gate Bridge to see lighting, views, etc. to ensure it was going to be exactly what he envisioned. The day of, he was level headed and cool while, not shockingly, Ivy almost blew the surprise several times. The planning and recon paid off and Brian was able to propose to Ivy (not at dinner) in his favorite place in San Francisco overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, with our friends hiding to take pictures and greeting us with champagne after. It was the perfect day! We are so excited for the next chapter and we look forward to celebrating with all of you!
