Arrival Time

Please arrive between 4:00 and 4:30 to allow time for golf cart transport to the ceremony site (approximately 5 minutes). The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00.

Parking and Transportation

Valet Parking will be provided at the venue. There is limited access to Uber/Lyft in the area. Please plan accordingly.

Dress Code

Black Tie Optional For Men: Please wear a tuxedo or dark dinner jacket. Pair it with a white dress shirt, dark bow tie or tie, and polished black shoes. For Women: A floor-length evening gown is preferred. Pair with grass-friendly heels or sandals.

Photography Etiquette

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony and first dances. We invite you to please tag @iviewedding in any photos you post from the weekend. We are excited to see our day through your lens! Thank you!

Guest Policy

We will include adults, young adults, and immediate nieces and nephews. If your invitation shows "Family", your children are invited. Please refer to your RSVP on the website, the name(s) indicated will show who is invited and whether you’re invite includes a plus-one.

Additional Wedding Events

We invite our wedding party and out-of-town guests to join us for a welcome cocktail party the evening before our wedding. This is to ensure a warm welcome to those who traveled.

Are all events outdoors?
Answer
Yes! However, our reception will be tented. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held indoors at Elgin Country Club and the reception will remain in the tent. In early June, Elgin typically experiences warm, mild weather with daytime temperatures ranging from the mid-70s to low 80s°F, cooling to the 60s°F in the evening.
