We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. (No photos or videos during the ceremony except from the photographer) All cellphones should be put away during the ceremony(and silenced). We want our guests to be 100% present with us at this moment. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many pictures as you please as long as you promise to send them to us at the end of the night!
Once the Bride and Groom announce to the world that the knot is tied, feel free to post. Please refrain from posting pictures of the wedding until then. We spent a lot of time and money planning this event; please respect our big moment and allow us the honor of unveiling that to the world.
Typically December in West Virginia is rather warm, but please prepare for anything. We recommend you keep up with the weather a few days out from the ceremony. December in West Virginia could be 60 degrees and sunny, 60 degrees and rain or potentially snow.
Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors and on the same property.
No. The Venue is located on a small farm, so there are Cows on the property. They usually are out of the way and behind an electric fence. Please do not try to touch the cows or disturb them. There is also a pond on the property- please do not play in it or try to fish it. (there are no fish in it)
We ask that all guests ONLY park in the front of the venue, in the big gravel lot. Please do not park in the back. The back is reserved for loading/unloading of items and yard games (weather permitting). Other things to note- cellphone service is very spotty. We recommend you type in the directions BEFORE trying to arrive.
Yes! We will have signs at both interstate entrance ramps, as well as a few signs going up the road to the venue. Other things to note- cellphone service is very spotty. We recommend you type in the directions BEFORE trying to arrive. There are also directions listed in the "Venue Directions" tab.
We have a small registry with Amazon,Walmart, and Honeyfund. Please check the "registry" tab for more info!
We are going to Disney world! If you don’t see anything on our registries you like (or you just want to help) Disney gift cards can go a long way on our trip! In the Walmart and HoneyFund registries we have added Disney gift cards, but they can be purchased anywhere gift cards are sold! *Please note- If you decide to go this route, they are the Disney gift cards with Disney characters on them, NOT the Disney+ ones.
