FAQs

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly request that you RSVP no later than May 20, 2025. You can RSVP using the QR code on your formal invitation, or by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by May 20, 2025, you will be marked as "not attending." While we would love to celebrate with you, we have to provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time frame that they have given us. As such, we can not accept late RSVPs, nor can we accept surprise guests. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

What should I do if I can't make it or can no longer make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please indicate as "not attending." If you have already RSVP'd and can no longer make it, please update your RSVP to "not attending" and let the bride or groom know so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We truly love your kids but we want this night to be your night off! As such, unless your kids are specifically invited by the bride or groom on your wedding invitation, children under the age of 18 will not be permitted at the reception. We'll celebrate with them at another time!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guest(s) formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP on the invite!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Because we intend to start promptly at 6:00 pm, please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time in order to find parking and your seat! We can't wait to see you!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and the cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will be indoors. During parts of the reception, the outdoor areas will still be open for you to enjoy the nice summer air. If anyone smokes cigarettes or cigars, we kindly request that you do so outdoors and that you throw your buds in the designated metal buckets filled with sand. Please keep the grounds of the historic Marion Hatcher Center clean and beautiful by not throwing items nor buds on the ground. Thank you!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It will likely be a "little" hot and a "little" humid. However, since the wedding is in the evening, the weather should be a bit cooler. But, just in case, we will have some goodies to keep you shaded and cool during the ceremony!

Question

But what should I wear?

Answer

We are going cocktail/semi-formal. So wear something nice that will have you photo-ready but will also help you stay cool and comfortable. Please reserve hues of peach and sage green for the party guests who received special request from the bride and groom to wear such colors.

Question

Will there be parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot on Ellis St., directly behind the Marion Hatcher Center. As well, there is a parking lot behind the MAU building across the street. Once you park, you won't have to move your car until the end of the evening because the ceremony and reception are both at the Marion Hatcher Center! We also recommend Uber/Lyft, as the venue is in a convenient location in downtown Augusta!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! We are happy to notify the appropriate vendor(s) of your special request! We just ask that you let us know of any special requests and food allergies when you RSVP by May 20, 2025.

Question

If I have more questions, who should I contact?

Answer

You can contact the bride, groom, mother of the bride, or the wedding coordinator directly with any additional questions.
