How we Met

Six Flags

On a sunny September day in 2021, the air was filled with the infectious energy of Six Flags. With two close friends by my side, we eagerly squeezed in one last ride before the park closed for the day. As luck would have it, we found ourselves in line behind Matthew and His friend Henrique, two strangers whose paths were about to intersect with ours in the most unexpected way. Amidst a conversation about our shared faith, Matthew's sincerity and passion for his beliefs caught my attention. His words resonated deeply with me, and I couldn't help but admire his genuine nature. As the ride came to a close, we exchanged social medias, with no other intentions but to all stay friends. In the months that followed, my casual acquaintance with Matthew blossomed into something more meaningful, fueled by shared values and mutual respect. Looking back, it's clear that our meeting at Six Flags was no mere coincidence. It was the beginning of a beautiful journey—a love story grounded in friendship, faith, and the simple joys of life. - Paola

Engagement Story

Disney World

On July 26th the moment was just right to make any woman’s dream come true. Arriving to the tropical state of Florida with Paola’s family, I tagged along on a summery vacation trip that everyone was needing. While everything seemed normal for a trip, Daisy and I were plotting a plan behind the scenes. We went to many parks like Volcano Island, Universal Studio, and then Disney Land. The trip to Disney Land, however, was different and reserved for one reason only. Getting to Disney Land real early, the crowd was only a few, so we took advantage to take pictures of each other in front of the castle! The view was amazing. The sun was already hitting hard, and I remember the sweat starting to drop down my back. As we changed our position for the picture, I took the action behind Paola’s back and said to myself, its time. I got on one knee whiling taking out the ring and I asked, “Will you marry me?”. She was stunned and froze. She uttered the magical words, “Yes”. The small crowd in the background clapped and congratulated as now I began to put the ring on Paola’s finger. My once girlfriend to now, Fiancé. From this point on I knew we already started a new chapter in our relationship. - Matthew
