The future bride and groom met at this local amusement park in the summer of 2005. Robert mustered up the courage to ask Morgan for her number and they began dating shortly thereafter not realizing one day, he would also be popping the big question. For Morgan, this was just a summer job while she was enrolled in college, however for Robert this was the beginning of his career. Little did Robert know; Morgan always admired his career and was super excited for his future. After a few dates, she was asked to be his girlfriend and of course she said yes! As the summer passed, the two of them enjoyed each other and had all the fun in the world until it was time for Morgan to return to college in Pennsylvania. Even as a young adult, the pair appreciated each other’s drive and vision for life. As their career paths began to get more demanding, the two grew apart however kept in contact over the years. During their time apart, Robert was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, then Captain (CAPT) within Prince George’s County Fire Department (PGFD) and Morgan completed her Bachelor’s at Penn State University and Master’s at Baylor University. In 2013, Morgan decided to follow family legacy and enlist in the United States Army. The groom-to-be is still a Captain in PGFD but also the Executive Officer to the Deputy Fire Chief and the bride-to-be is also a Captain in the U. S. Army stationed at Fort Lee, VA. The pair enjoy watching football and basketball, water activities as well as outdoor activities, snacking on SmartFood popcorn, and eating out at different restaurants. In October of 2020, Morgan reached out to him for a normal check in. This conversation unlike any other lasted three hours. From there, the rest was history. That normal check in led to a bond that established our now engagement and upcoming nuptials. Robert proposed in front of his close family and friends as well as hers on Saturday, March 20, 2021.
