Will the ceremony and reception be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests will be able to walk straight to the reception site (adjacent to the ceremony site) where we will be serving hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

YES! To the welcome reception that you've been invited too as well. Date: Wednesday, February 9th, 2021 Time: 5pm-7pm Location: Host hotel

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least 45 minutes to an hour before the start of the ceremony. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:15pm and at this time guests will be asked to wait in the lobby until AFTER the bride has made per appearance.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

If you decide to drive, guests should park in the building's parking lot. And valet is on us!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Our website has a tab which allows you and your guest (if your invitation reflects so) to RSVP for both the welcome reception as well as the ceremony and reception.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online

Answer

The deadline is November 1, 2021 and we ask that you RSVP on our website. No need to mail anything back to us.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel the night of the wedding?

Answer

If you are in need of transportation to and from the recommended hotel site, please reach out to our wedding planner Lekita Logan Range at lekita@livenlavishevents.com and she will arrange it all.

Can we take pictures and post on social media?

Answer

The ceremony itself will be unplugged however you can take pictures at the reception. We ask that you DO NOT go live. But do tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #itsaleonardthing so we can keep track of all of your pictures!”

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options

Answer

Please let us know when you RSVP if you need any meal accommodations to include food allergies.

If I select the NY Strip and Lobster Tail as my entre' for the wedding reception, how will my steak be prepared?

Answer

All steaks will be prepared medium-well unless you request otherwise. If this is the case, please reach out to the wedding coordinator with the specifics.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” on our website so we can plan accordingly.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is present enough, so don't worry about what to buy as we have plenty of stuff! However, if you were thinking of giving a gift to help us on our way. A gift of money toward our honeymoon would really make our day! We will have our cash app and Zelle QR codes at the reception but if you like to make a monetary donation prior to your arrival our Cash App name is $TheLeonards2022 and Zelle phone number is (301)742-4312

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

No, we just ask that you wear semi-formal cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.”

The bride requests that all ladies stray away from white. Thank you kindly.

Have you reserved a block of rooms for your guests?

Answer

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

7pm until its over.

Are you requiring guests to wear a mask at this event?

Answer

No, but if you would like to wear one for your comfortability, feel free to do so.

What other COVID guidelines have you put in place to protect your guests?

Answer

There will sanitation stations at the welcome reception, ceremony and wedding reception. The servers will be wearing gloves to serve all food at the wedding reception. Your food will be brought to you with a lid therefore it will be covered during transport to your seat.

Will there be an open bar at the wedding reception?

Answer

Yes, however tips are highly encouraged.

Will I need to rent a car to get around in Fort Lauderdale?

Answer

It will not be required however for your comfort, this may be a necessity. There are a lot of restaurants and things to do in walking distance to include sitting on the beach. You can always use Uber or Lyft as well.

Does the hotel provide a shuttle to get to and from the airport?

Answer

Unfortunately, they do not.

Question

Will I be required to wear a mask everywhere at the host resort?

Answer

In accordance to Broward County's COVID-19 requirements, all guests are required to wear personal face coverings when moving throughout the resort in all areas, indoor and outdoor, including while working out in the fitness center. The only exceptions are while eating or drinking at a restaurant, swimming in the pool or ocean, sunbathing, or engaging in water sports activities.
