If it's your first time to Seattle, we would definitely suggest doing some of the touristy activities around the city.
The great wheel is another fun, touristy attraction in downtown Seattle.
This museum has some really awesome glass art made by Dale Chihuly and his team. Brian took me on a date here because I had always wanted to come after learning about Chihuly in an art class.
If you love pizza, this is a great place to hit up if you find yourself downtown. Brian took me here after Chihuly on our date.
As a true Boeing baby, I can fully recommend visiting this museum if you are into planes! It isn't too far away from all of the festivities, either!
The Light Rail is a great option if you would like to travel into the city and not have to worry about finding and paying for parking. There are stops in Tukwila, and also one at the airport in SeaTac. You can ride it all the way north to the University of Washington, and it has a lot of great stops in downtown Seattle. Most attractions are easily walkable from the station and tickets are pretty cheap.
