Pier A Harbor
Our engagement spot! We recommend taking a walk to the end of the pier and snapping a photo with the Statute of Liberty & Ellis Island right behind you. A great spot to bring a bottle of Champagne with you too! Swing by The Corkery at 15 Bridge Street nearby to buy your bottle of champagne!
The Beatrice Inn
Our first date spot! Also Alex's grandparents' date spot when they were first married in the 1930's. The Beatrice Inn closed during the pandemic. However, rumor has it they plan to reopen up right next door! If they still aren't open yet, we recommend Cafe Cluny across the street.
Lil' Frankie's
Our favorite pizza place! Keep in mind they only accept cash. We love their margerita and salsiccia pizza. As well as their spaghetti limone.
The Hairy Lemon
Take a tour of our old neighborhood (Lower East Side) and say hello to our favorite barman Glen! Order a Gin Winston (Glen will know what that is).
787 Coffee
Our neighborhood coffee spot. Pair your coffee with one of their delicious quesitos! Then take a stroll through Stone Street and take in Old New York. See some sights including Federal Hall, the New York Stock Exchange and Alexander Hamilton's burial site.
Seaport District
Visit the area that first attracted us to live downtown. Some of our favorite spots include walking along the water, McNally Jackson's bookstore, Sarah Jessica Parker's shoe store, Industry Kitchen restaurant along the East River, and the Hideaway sports bar.
