Below you will find answers to some frequently asked questions.
Question

Do I have to be vaccinated?

Answer

Restrictions change rapidly. Please keep an eye out for updates here. Last updated on 08/24/2021. All attendees must show proof of vaccination, as well as photo ID (driver's license or passport) prior to entering the reception. Means of proof include a Vaccination card, NYC COVID Safe passport and exposure notification app, or the NYS Excelsior Pass mobile phone app. We recommend bringing your vaccination card and taking a photo of the front & back with your phone. Please also have photo ID with you.

Do I have to wear a face mask?

Answer

Restrictions change rapidly. Please keep an eye out for updates here. Last updated on 08/24/2021. As of this time, if you are fully vaccinated, you are only required to wear a face mask on public transportation or in a public spaces where the owner requires face masks. If you are not vaccinated, you are required to wear a face mask whenever you are in a shared indoor space (such as the ceremony or hotel common areas) or while riding public transportation. Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both events will take place indoors.

Question

What happens if it rains on the day of the city boat cruise?

Answer

The boat cruise will take place barring any very severe weather.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

NYC can still get very warm summer-like temperatures and sun in September. Rain is possible too.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love to watch the children run and play, this is an adults only kind of day.

Question

How do I get to the ceremony or venue?

Answer

Uber/Lyft/Taxi or Subway. Depending on your hotel location, you may also be within a comfortable walking distance.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

You will have 1-2 hours to relax/explore before the cocktail hour.

Can I take and post pictures on social media?

Answer

Photos are NOT permitted during the ceremony, but we welcome all photos during the reception. Please use our hashtag #itsabouttimejeffers so we can keep track of your photos!
