Mabel

Maid of Honor

I can confidently say, I have known Pam all her life and I've had the joy to watch her through all the phases of life and I'm most excited about this next one with Israel by her side. Some of my favourite memory with Pam is from when we were little and we would convince our little brothers of scenarios that never happened. We would pretend that they met Santa clause and just couldn't remember or convince them they were invisible or that they would be shipped away to Africa in a uhaul. Or when we found out we were moving to Canada. We shared a room and although we had a bunk bed we chose to sleep in the same bed so we could yap. So every night we'd start with the most important question. " What do you want your go cart to be like" because we were convinced everyone in Canada had go carts and so we'd talk about the purple fur lined interior and pink leather seats we'd have and how it would be a 7 seater cart or a two seater. Looking back I think we were just looking for something to look forward to because once we moved all talk of go carts was replaced by what outfit's we'd wear on our first day at school.

Best Man

My most memorable memory with Olly was the last time I saw him. We laughed nonstop for hours about the most random things, got trapped in a parking spot by a cop who thought we were up to no good, and talked about our lives. That night pretty much summed up our friendship: constant laughs, but always space for deeper conversations and reflection. I have no doubt he’ll bring that same mix of laughter, heart, and meaning into his marriage with even more energy and love. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness, inside jokes, meaningful moments, and plenty of random, unforgettable nights like that one.

I’ll never forget the pure joy and excitement in Israel’s face when he told me that he had plans to propose to Pam. I am so so happy that I am a little part of your journey, but even happier to be able to witness your journey. Cheers to my lovely brother Israel, and his beautiful bride Pam, and to their wonderful relationship. I am so excited for you both. Much love, Ife.

I don't think I can pick a favourite memory I've had with Izzy, there's just too many to choose from spanning back to our first year in uni together. From constantly supporting each other with advice, to the countless laughs shared, our relationship is one I've cherished and will continue to. Izzy is someone who, when he decides what he wants, is relentlessly industrious in chasing it, his current business success is a testament to that fact, as anyone who has seen the numerous ideas come and go will attest to. I have seen this same industriousness in how he approached his relationship with Pam right from the start and could not be prouder of how much he has grown as a person since our early days. As you both take this huge next step in life, I pray God blesses your union and your marriage be filled with uncountable moments of joy. Congratulations yet again

I knew Israel was going to marry Pam from the day he flew her to Kuwait to meet our parents. It was such a sweet time and I loved getting to know Pam for the lovely, kind woman that she is. She is the perfect match for my wonderful, talented brother, and I look forward to seeing their marriage prosper!!

During a rough time in the world, when covid shut up the world. It was amazing to have my brother come from Lethbridge and come to talk and poke fun at each other. The laughs and the roasting was top tier!

The bond between Pamela and Israel exemplifies God's perfect love, which is patient and kind. It has grown through laughter and challenges, difficult conversations, and quiet moments of prayer, all of which have led to this point. Your love is more than a feeling; it is a decision to support each other through thick and thin, to place God at the centre of your relationship and demonstrate it through every small act of kindness, every word of encouragement, and every prayer you offer up together. Congratulations, my dearest friends, and may your love continue to light the path for a long and fruitful marriage.

When I think of Israel and Pam, I think of peanut butter and jelly. It just makes sense. They’re probably the funniest couple I know. I love them both and I’m blessed to be a part of their wedding. I know I can count on these two for anything except to come to Mexico with me. But congratulations to both of them and I wish them both the best!

Pam used to live downtown with our friend Muna, and the day I saw their apartment, I knew I would spend a lot of time there. Not only did it overlook the legislature and was quite literally in the heart of downtown, but two of my favourite people lived there. Izzy was always over to the point I started questioning if he was a third roommate, and the six of us as friends would gather spontaneously, hang out and talk for hours and hours. Izzy always came up with the most thought-provoking questions that would make me wonder how his mind worked (in a good way), and Pam always offered such a profound answer and perspective. These two complement each other so well that the love they hold for each other makes you melt. I can see that Izzy loves Pam more than he loves chicken– which says a lot about Pam! I feel so blessed to have Pam and Izzy as lifelong friends and honoured to be a part of this special day. May Christ be the center of your marriage, strengthening and guiding you in love, patience, and grace.

Some of my favourite memories as a child with Pam was walking home from school in Ireland. Before leaving for school in the morning we would take $2 each from our mom’s purse without her knowledge. We would use that money to buy ice cream from the truck that parked outside of the school everyday. Because our parents didn’t know we were buying ice cream, Pam had to slap it out of my hands because I couldn’t eat it fast enough (because I was 5) and we had a very specific window of time to make in home in. Or in Rocky Mountain House spending hours sat in front of the computer memorizing rap lyrics like it was homework (No Love by Eminem featuring Lil Wayne and Look At Me Now by Chris Brown). Or in the summer of 2017 as Pam was graduating high school and I was stepping into it, the two of us running into each other at a party and basically recreating that one Spider-Man meme. Since meeting Israel, he’s truly been like a brother to me. Whether it’s checking on me when feeling down or the both of us poking fun at Pam, he’s truly been a shining addition to our family. More recently, I’ve come to Israel for advice on a variety of issues and I always appreciate the wise words and sound reasoning that he is able to give me. No matter the topic or scenario, I can always trust in the both of them for support, guidance and encouragement.

To the most beautiful couple, Pamela and Israel. First off, congratulations on marrying the loves of your lives. I’m so honored to be part of your journey! I remember when I first met Pam, I thought to myself “I’ve got myself another Igbo sister”. It seems just like yesterday that me and Pam were jumping up and down with excitement about our first apartment together at the heart of downtown. So many memories have been shared, she is such a kind soul, filled with laughter and always radiating joy. Israel was one of the first friends I made coming to Canada from Ireland. He has one of the most welcoming presence and always puts himself forward to help others. It's been such a joy to watch their love story unfold, and I'm so proud of the amazing people they’ve become. I'm so excited to see them both say 'I do' and start their forever! May your journey together be filled with endless happiness and adventure!🙏🏾💚

Israel, where do I begin? There are so many great things I could say about him—his drive, work ethic, vision, musical talent, and servant’s heart. But above all, I am honored to call him my brother. Though younger than me, Israel carries wisdom beyond his years. To this day I’ll always be grateful to Israel for bringing me on into his business at the early stages. Through that experience I was able to use it to land great opportunities in my career. I’m truly grateful that God brought our friendship and brotherhood together. From our deep conversations about family, God, business, and relationships, there’s never been a dull moment. And now, I am honored to stand with him as he embarks on this beautiful journey. Pamela is one of the kindest people I have ever met. We call her Pam, and she has a heart only God could give. I’ve seen her welcome people she barely knew and treat them like family—something not many people do. Her kindness has inspired me countless times. Over the years, she has been a wonderful friend to me and many others, and it has been a blessing to witness her and Israel grow together. May the Lord, who began this great work in you, continue to guide and establish Himself in your marriage. I pray that no challenge will shake your foundation and that, by His grace, your love will stand the test of time. Above all, may you find joy in your marriage, and may generations to come be blessed through it. I love and appreciate you both

We have A LOT of memories together but but one that stands out for me Honestly our trip to jasper early 2024, I had just gotten out of a two year relationship and you had planned a trip with Pam and had let me tag along. The road trip conversations we had while we could barely see through fog were super insightful and I feel brought our already close friendship even closer. I got to learn more about you and vice versa whilst learning more about your soon to be wife aswell. That conversation I carry with me all the time and I’m glad we decided to vlog a bit of it aswell !

Me and isreal go WAYYYY Back form the ages of 5. Its been wonderful seeing how much he has grown and changed over the years even tho he ditched all of us to cause havic in the streets of Kuwait. As much as ive known him and had memories with him the most growth ive seen is within the last few years specially after meeting his lovely wife Pamela. Ive never seen him this locked in and happy, you can just tell God had chosen them for each other. I always joke that he is an old man in a young guys body, but I am beyond proud of what he has accomplished so far and what hes yet to achieve. Congratulations to you and Pamela once again, love you guys ❤️

One of my favorite memories of Pamela and Israel has to be your engagement party. The energy in the room was just so joyful, and seeing you both so happy, laughing, and completely geeking out over each other was the sweetest thing. The love between you was so obvious—it was in every smile and every little moment you shared that night. It made me even more excited for the life you're building together because if that night was any indication, your future is going to be filled with so much love and laughter. As you start this new chapter, I pray that God continues to guide and strengthen your relationship. May your home always be filled with peace and joy, your careers flourish, and when the time comes, may your little ones be surrounded by all the love you two have to give. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, adventure, and countless beautiful memories together!

Ahh Izzy where do I even start, do I start from the countless sleepovers we had as kids , or the summers you came back from from Kuwait, and and we’d just be chopping it up about all kinds of nonsense. To be honest I can’t pinpoint an exact moment but the truth is whether as children, teenagers, young adults, you been by my side through it all and I can’t wait to see what other memories we can make( my favourite times were when we’d watch wwe and then go try out everything we saw)

Although our friendship is only but a few years old, I’m so glad to have had the opportunity to know both Pamela and Izzy. The many laughters, the pho dates, and sometimes the tears have all shaped our friendship into what it is today. Pamela is like a sister I can always count on to be there when I am going through a rough time and need someone to listen to me or advice me and Izzy is like that annoying brother that takes pleasure in teasing you all the time, but ultimately still wants the best for you. It’s such a privilege to have been asked to be a part of this special day, seeing how your relationship has blossomed over the years and now as you guys embark on this new journey of life, I wish you both nothing but the best, continued blessings and a long prosperous marriage and many more pho dates 🤭. I love you both 💕🥹

One thing that comes to mind when I think of Israel is his unwavering confidence to achieve any goal he sets his mind to. Before becoming a successful entrepreneur and businessman, Izzy was a university student. Sometimes in university, we fall behind on schoolwork. Other times, we fall so far behind that it feels like there’s no coming back. Most people would give up on a semester that’s going poorly—but Izzy wasn’t one of those people. It didn’t matter how badly he did on a midterm. It didn’t matter if he had to defer an exam and was left with a final worth 70% of his grade—Izzy had the self-confidence to pull himself out of any struggle he faced. But Izzy doesn’t just aim to meet the bare minimum. He always has the ambition to get the best results possible. I remember times during our first years of university when he would break down exactly how he planned to go from a 52% to a 90% in a course. He’d outline how he needed 100% on every single assignment and quiz, and a 95% on the final. Even though he didn’t always hit those goals, I’ve always respected his determination to pursue them relentlessly. It’s that same drive that has taken him so far in life. When most people see a problem that feels too big, they run away. But Israel doesn’t see any problem as too big to overcome. I truly believe that this mindset—combined with his deep faith in God—makes him an unstoppable person. Congratulations on your engagement. We’re all praying for you and Pamela and cheering you on.
