Vancouver Aquarium - this is our favourite date spot and a great place to see a wide variety of marine life. Granville Island - this is a great tourist spot where you can get some good coffee and explore unique stores. We highly recommend taking an Aquabus. Grouse Mountain - this has some beautiful views and fun shows to see in the summer. Isobel like to do the Grouse Grind, but its not a easy or fun hike. Deep Cove (Quarry Rock) - this is Isobel's home town and an adorable town. Most people walk up Quarry Rock, which is an easy hike. Stanley Park Seawall - this is a great 10km walk, run, or bike ride along the ocean. Our wedding is just off part of the seawall, so you will see a part of it on the big day. Bard on the Beach - this is an amazing Shakespeare company that works under a massive tent on the beach every summer. Isobel has volunteered there for 3 years and loves to take Seoho on dates here. Whistler - this is a great day trip. You can go hiking, swimming in a lake, or just explore the town. The Chief Hike - this has amazing views of the Squamish mountains, the city where Isobel went to university.

Lucky Taco (Kitsilano) - this was our first date and has great Mexican food. Danbo - this is our favourite ramen place. Warning there is usually a 30-60 minute wait. Straight Brooklyn Pizza - this is our favourite pizza place and our first apartment was across the street, so was our go to treat. Ask for Luigi - this is one of the best Italian restaurants in the city. The area is not the best, but the food and vibe is worth it. Miku - this is the best sushi is Vancouver, which is already known for great sushi. If you are looking to treat yourself, we highly recommend. Brix and Mortar - this is a romantic dinner spot in Yaletown that serves a variety of food. OEB - this is a great brunch spot and Seoho worked here in 2022. Homer st Cafe - this is great great restaurant no matter this time of day. Our first apartment was on Home st, so this place is extra special. Shaughnessy - this is next to a beautiful botanical garden, so the atmosphere is very bright and fresh. Anh and Chi - this place serves great Vietnamese food and has so many great thrift stores and coffee shops in the area. The Farmhouse - this is a cute Italian restaurant and one of Isobel's favourite spots. Radish - this place serves some amazing sandwiches and salads. It is even the place Isobel went for lunch after finding her wedding dress. Dachi - this place is romantic and unique. If you love some specially curated food and wine, we highly recommend. JJ Bean - this is a coffee shop chain that is local to Vancouver. Isobel spends 20% of her time studying in these cafes. Highly recommend their dirty chai and apple cruffin. Nemesis - some of the best coffee and pastries in the city.
Travel Note
Vancouver does not have many hotels, so most of them are good. Please just avoid any hotels in the Downtown Eastside, that is not a nice area of town.
