The Wedding Website of Isobel Casey and Seoho Choi
Question

When do I RSVP by?

Answer

The RSVP deadline is June 14th, 2026. We would really appreciate is you RSVP'd much earlier than the deadline.

Question

What is the closest airport?

Answer

The closest airport is YVR, which is a beautiful international airport.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

An average August afternoon in Vancouver is usually sunny and around 22°C, though temperatures can realistically range anywhere between 18°C and 30°C.

Question

How will we find the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The whole event is held at The Teahouse in Stanley Park (7501 Stanley Park Dr, Vancouver, BC V6G 1Z) and across the street in the park at Fergusion Point. There will be obvious signage, a day of coordinator, and chairs when you arrive, so you should not get lost.

Question

What is the exact timeline?

Answer

4:30pm - please arrive at the ceremony and start to take you seat 5:00pm - ceremony starts (this will not be delayed and any late comers will not be allowed to sit once we start) 5:30pm - cocktail hour 7:00pm - dinner 10:00pm - dancing starts 11:30pm - end of the night

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

There is public parking available; however, we strongly recommend not driving to the venue. The parking lot is shared with Stanley Park and is usually full by 1 PM on summer days. It’s also quite expensive (around $20 for the day), and overnight parking is not allowed—cars left after hours may be towed. We recommend using Uber or another rideshare service instead. It costs about the same as parking and ensures you can get home safely after celebrating with us.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place at Ferguson Point, just across the street from the Stanley Park Teahouse. The area is outdoors on a grassy hill, so please keep that in mind when choosing your footwear—heels may sink into the grass! Also, note that there is no shade in this area. Cocktail hour will follow in the garden outside the Stanley Park Teahouse, a lovely grassy space with some shade from nearby trees. The reception will be held inside the Stanley Park Teahouse for dinner, dancing, and celebrations.

Question

What to bring to the wedding?

Answer

Please bring yourselves and a card. We’re doing our guest book a little differently. After the wedding, we’re having a professional scrapbook made, and instead of a traditional guest book, our designer will scan the messages and names from the cards you write us to create the guest book pages. Without cards, the guest book page will end up looking sparse.

Question

How does your registry work?

Answer

We aren’t very materialistic, so our registry of household items is quite limited. You can view it here: If you’d like to give a gift, we kindly ask that you consider contributing to our home savings fund. Our next big goal as a couple is to buy a home, and we would be so grateful for any help building our down-payment fund. You can contribute directly through the money registry page.

Question

What food will be served?

Answer

During cocktail hour, guests will enjoy a selection of hors d’oeuvres, including gluten-free and vegetarian options. For dinner, we will begin with a fresh garden salad, followed by your choice of duck confit or mushroom ravioli for the main course. Dessert will feature a mix of gelato or sorbet and our vegan wedding cake. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance—we’ll be happy to accommodate. Although the Stanley Park Teahouse is famous for its seafood, there will be no seafood served at our wedding due to Isobel’s allergy.

Question

What drinks will be served?

Answer

Alcoholic drinks: All alcoholic drinks (champagne, wine, beer, cocktails, highballs) will be provided during cocktail hour and your first dinner beverage. Following that, the bar will operate on a ticket system. Each guest will receive a limited number of drink tickets for the evening. Please note that there will be no additional drinks available once tickets have been used. Non-alcoholic drinks: All non-alcoholic drinks (coffee, tea, juice, soda) will be unlimited.

Question

Can I bring a plus-ones?

Answer

Unfortunately, we were unable to accommodate additional guests. This will be a small wedding, so we would like to know everyone in attendance. A few guests have been given plus-ones and have been informed directly.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We kindly ask that this be an adults-only celebration. The only little ones attending will be our nieces and nephews, all under the age of three.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please see our dress code page.
