Diamond Taher

Maid of Honor

Diamond and I met our freshman year of college at what was then Bethel College. We ran together for four years on the cross country and track teams and progressively got closer and closer throughout. Diamond and I have been through a lot together (including successfully making it through the Nursing Program), and she has become one of my very best friends. She has been there for me for four years so far, and I know she will be there for me for many more. I am so thankful that she is my Maid of Honor!

Andrew Shaw

Best Man

My best friend since Middle School. He was notorious for saying "have a nice trip, see you next fall" while tripping people with his cane in 6th grade. We have always stuck by each other's sides and valued the many things that we have in common. My best friend will be my best man for life.

Karina Watts

Matron of Honor

Karina and I met through Jordan probably around the end of 2019 (so not too long ago)! Jordan and Karina have known each other Jordan's entire life, so she is important to him (and me). Karina and I became friends the first time we met, and her and her now husband (Daniel) started inviting Jordan and I to hangout with them. We have all made so many memories together, and Karina and Daniel were even part of and there for our engagement! I am blessed to have her as my Matron of Honor!

Daniel Watts

Best Man

A more recent friend of mine due to the recent marriage of Karina, a lifelong (family) friend of my own. I value his thoughtfulness and care for both me and Haley and respect his attitude of forgiveness and patience; one to be replicated. We both enjoy board games very much. Daniel and Karina are our first friends who have been married and have both been an extreme help in guiding our future in the right direction. I am honored to have Daniel as my Man of Honor.

Jayci Wimmer

Bridesmaid

I have known Jayci all her life obviously haha! We may not have gotten along AT ALL growing up, and we may have strongly disliked each other plenty of times, but as we have gotten older, we have gotten so much closer. I know we trust each other not just as sisters but also as friends. I am thankful for a sister to talk to about various things, and I am glad that she feels comfortable enough to come to me too. I am excited and thankful that she will be next to me on my special day!

Jesse Leprie

Groomsman

We met in high school through a mutual friend of ours. I convinced Jesse to join the track team and to come to church. We began going on bro-dates and ended up becoming really close. Ever since that point in high school, we have been close friends and always there for each other. I have never regretted any moment I have spent with him.

Megan Cooper

Bridesmaid

Megan and I met three years ago and have ran together on Bethel's cross country and track teams since! She has been one of the most genuine, kind, loving, and intentional people I have ever met, and I am blessed to have such a friend in my life. She gives great Godly advice that I know I can trust, and she gives even better hugs! I am even more blessed to be having her next to me on my special day!

Devlin McNeil

Groomsman

Haley: Devlin was one of my first friends on the cross country team our freshman year, and he was the closest guy friend I had there. He is so goofy and a good friend, and he has played a big role in Jordan and I's relationship. Jordan: Devlin was one of my first Bethel friends besides the teammates I already had on campus that I had known from high school. We have both experienced each other's ups and downs, and he was the one that introduced me to the love of my life. Without his role in our lives, Haley and I would not even be getting married.

Emma Mott

Bridesmaid

Emma and I met four years ago on Bethel's cross country team. She was my first friend on the team, and since then, she has continued to be not only a great friend but also a role model in many ways. I know I can count on her to give me Godly and wise advice in any situation, and I value her love for Jesus so much. I am truly blessed to call her a true friend, and I am forever grateful for her unending support, even on my special day when she is standing next to me!

Austin Heiden

Groomsman

Along with Zach, Austin completes what was called the "Brotherhood" of the Church of the Nazarene youth. I met this man in early middle school, and he was basically an immediate close friend. I can always count on his rational thoughts and advice. There have been many times where he has been there to drill my stupidity into my head like a true friend should. Never underestimate his ability to make you laugh, even if you may be the subject.

Sophey McKinney

Bridesmaid

I have known Sophey all of her life since she is one of my sisters haha! She has always been a sassy-pants, but she’s also quite the funny little person and has so much beauty! Although just recently asked to be a bridesmaid, I am thankful for her to be able to stand next to me on my special day!

Zach Platt

Groomsman

I've known this man for just about as long as I can possibly remember. We have always been friends and shared many great times with each other. No doubt, we can always count on our friendship no matter how much distance or time there is between. We commonly share basketball as a sport we both are good at sucking at but cannot help but enjoying.

Sammi Worley

Bridesmaid

Sammi and I have known each other for less than a year, but yet she will be standing next to me on my special day. From knowing her as Evan's girlfriend who has a great style, a loud laugh, and a hilarious sense of humor, to actually getting to know her literally out of no where, I knew that we were going to be great friends! Her family took me in for two months during Winter Break, we went to Florida during Spring Break, and we have shared SO SO SO many laughs. I know the rest of our lives will be like this as well, and I could not be more thankful for such a random friendship to turn into a best friend and to have her standing next to me!

Evan Brown

Groomsman

As a more recent development, our friendship has become very valuable. We met in the beginning of our college careers as teammates but didn't became close until recently as we have been roommates. Out of our many conversations that go maybe too deep, we receive insight and understanding. Those conversations have expanded my understanding and helped me grow. But ultimately, I have gained a lifelong friend who will point out my flaws and yet still care and reinforce me.
