Ally frequented this coffee shop in high school so much that she decided it would be fitting to get her senior pictures taken here. Order a cardamom latte and take a stroll through downtown Boise.
A coffee shop with very fun skater/surfer vibes. Exit the shop and take a walk on the Greenbelt along the river -- and of course, stop and watch the river surfers at the Boise Whitewater Park!
Another great coffee stop for our caffeine loving friends (and where Ally and Will will be having their last date before they are officially married)!
You can't come to Idaho and miss out on eating potatoes -- Boise Fry Co. has the best fries (and fry sauce) around!
Looking for a nice dinner out while you're in town? Barbacoa is not only delicious, but a stunning and unique restaurant experience! It has been one of Ally's all-time favorite spots, and she was thrilled to bring Will there last year.
We cannot recommend a warm, filling empanada enough! Pick up a hearty savory empanada or mouth-watering sweet one (they make their own caramel!), and eat them down the street at the Boise Train Depot to enjoy a view of the city!
Will loves a good piece of pizza and has given a thumbs up to the home of one of Ally's favorite slices. While you're in downtown Nampa for Messenger Pizza, go across the street to the Flying M Coffee Garage!
Ally made sure to take Will to the home of the scone when he was in town! Stop by this old-school diner and enjoy a warm scone (definitely not what you are thinking of), a hearty breakfast, and an over-the-top shake. Don't forget to bring a few quarters for the juke box!
Wander the aisles of the Record Exchange and pick up a classic (or new) album on vinyl. And if you find a live recording of Caamp, let us know!
Stroll through Hyde Park and explore some of Boise's local shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. Goody's in Hyde Park has incredible ice cream, if you're in the mood for a classic cone!
Did you know there is a large Basque population in Boise? Find cultural centers, restaurants, and more in this quaint block in downtown Boise.
Under a mile from our wedding venue, find a man-made snow tubing hill! No matter the weather, Gateway Parks creates snow for tubers to enjoy.
For those hoping to hit the trails, Stack Rock is a stunning day hike just outside of Boise. Please note that there may be snow in March, but it's a beautiful view if you're able to tackle the trail!
Did you know that the only time Ally has ever been skiing was with Will (despite living 45 minutes from skiing most of her life)? If you have time to kill, go skiing or snow-tubing at Bogus Basin. Get up into the mountains and enjoy the snow!
