As most of you know, our wedding plans were impacted by COVID-19. Instead we held a small ceremony on our original wedding date, 05.15.20 We missed all of you dearly but are thrilled to be married. We were looking forward to celebrating with you all; however, the health and safety of our family and friends is most important and therefore we've come to the difficult decision to cancel our wedding reception on 5.14.21. We are so grateful for all the love and support and cannot wait until the world returns to normal. Thank you for understanding. With love, Amanda and Peter

Peter and Amanda met in their last year of college at Roger Williams University. Having separate majors and friend groups, their paths didn't cross until their final year when they attended the same Senior Seminar course, a general requirement to graduate. Amanda was originally in a different class, but her roommate convinced her to switch into hers. Luckily, Amanda did so! Pete and Amanda were in the same working group and the final project was a 3hr presentation. Amanda, not being one to love public speaking, was nervous. At the front of the room while getting the presentation loaded she quietly said, "Are you hot? I feel hot". And Pete cleverly responded, "Well it's hot because you are here..." The witty comment certainly didn't calm Amanda's nerves, but nonetheless it got her attention. When the semester ended, Amanda and Pete kept in touch texting over winter break. When they returned to Roger Williams for their final semester, they reconnected and the rest is history!
