Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No strict dress code! Please use your best judgment. We are getting married outside, at the base of the Mission Mountains, in Montana, the last weekend of September, at a guest ranch. It could be 85 degrees or 45 degrees. Dress to impress in something you love that accommodates the weather. Just not in a bridal gown. Michaela will have that covered!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Yes! Please include them on your RSVP, unless you are planning on feeding them a sandwich on the way up!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Of course! Your kids are welcome and we would love to have them! Please keep in mind however that babysitters are NOT provided so you are responsible for them during the festivities!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

If "open bar" means serving yourself beer, seltzer and wine, then YES it's an open bar! Any other liquors will be BYOB.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! We understand! Michaela is allergic to shellfish and walnuts, while John is allergic to people who only use their heads as a hat rack! If you have a severe allergy, please let us know! If you are just trying to avoid sugars, please advert your eyes from the dessert table!

Question

Will there be an open mic time for speeches?

Answer

No, there will not be an open mic opportunity for speeches. The Matron of Honor and the Best Man will be the only individuals permitted to give a speech during the festivities. Don't make it weird. There will be plenty of other opportunities to make make things weird throughout the night!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes we do! Please take a peek at our Travel section!

Question

I've decided I want to camp at the venue. What do I need to know?

Answer

Michaela and John are planning on setting up designated camping spots in the field below the venue. We are happy to reserve one for you as long as you RSVP by August 28th and agree to be respectful of the venue and our hosts who are allowing us to use the property. This includes also being respectful of the bridal party and immediate family while they get ready for the wedding, and take any pre-ceremony photos. * Please note that camping is only available on Friday night and Saturday night of the wedding weekend. ** Please do not approach the ceremony/reception site until you are planning on arriving for the wedding. You will be shooed away by someone who probably won't be as nice about it as Michaela might be.

For all the days along the way
