Mercado Obregón

Local markets full of food stalls (“fondas”), local produce, antojitos (small bites). Very authentic. Freshly cook meals and find local artesanías.

The Cathedral square glows with Christmas lights, nativity scenes, and music. This is the spot for holiday spirit in Colima. Posadas (Dec. 16–24): Streets and homes host processions with music, candles, and piñatas. Guests may see or even join one. Cathedral Basilica (Christmas Mass): A chance for guests to experience the liturgy in the decorated Cathedral.
