Like a true millennial couple, Isaiah and Robyn met on a dating app in early 2019 while Robyn was a fourth year medical student and Isaiah was continuing his journey as a NYC chef. After a few dates, he was able to impress her with his thoughtfulness, humor and great date ideas. Their chemistry quickly blossomed, and the first year seemingly flew by. At the end of 2020, they decided to move in together. During that time, with so much of the chaos from COVID, Isaiah and Robyn found that they could always find solace at home...with each other. It was among those days of solace that Isaiah first knew that he wanted to create forever from this small piece of life they currently shared. Fast forward to September 2021, they were on a much needed vacation through Portugal and Spain. Halfway through the trip, they were in Grenada, Spain. After a long day spent visiting the Alhambra, they went to their AirBnB rooftop for supposed birthday toast. However this wasn’t a normal birthday toast, Isaiah surprised Robyn by dropping to one knee and proposing on his own birthday! Robyn, initially confused, actually responded "Are you joking?!" and then of course said "Yes!".
