We kindly ask that you please RSVP by February 26, 2027, as this will help us provide an accurate final headcount to our vendor. We truly appreciate you taking the time to let us know, and we’re so grateful for your help in planning our special day!
If you’ll be joining us at the wedding and do not currently have a passport, please plan to apply by September 20, 2026 (or earlier if you have travel planned beforehand) to allow plenty of time for processing. You can find instructions for applying here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/need-passport/apply-in-person.html If you already have a passport, please double-check the expiration date. Many countries require at least six months of validity beyond your travel dates, so if your passport expires on or before November 20, 2026 (or earlier if you have travel planned beforehand), you’ll need to renew it in advance. You can renew your passport book online using the link below: https://opr.travel.state.gov/en/application/onboarding/what-to-expect/
Yes! The dress code for the wedding is semi-formal.
We recommend booking your flight about 6–8 months in advance, as that’s typically when flights are most affordable.
We recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible, as prices typically do not decrease over time. If you’re hoping to stay on the castle grounds and know you’ll be joining us, we encourage you to reserve your cottage early to secure your spot. For all other accommodations, we suggest booking by January 26, 2027.
As the wedding approaches, we’ll coordinate flight details. If a larger group is arriving at the same airport around the same time and staying on the castle grounds, we’re happy to arrange a shuttle. Otherwise, the best way to ensure flexibility for airport transfers, activities, and travel to and from hotels (if staying off the grounds) will be to rent a car.
We’ve decided on an adults-only ceremony and celebration to allow all our guests to relax and enjoy the night. If you’d like to bring your kids on the trip, we’d be happy to help you find a trusted babysitter for the day!
If you have any food allergies, please let us and/or Belle Isle Castle know when you RSVP so we can share that information with the caterer. We want everyone to feel comfortable and well taken care of!
On the wedding day, we’ll be hosting a full Irish breakfast before the ceremony, followed by canapés, a full meal during the reception, and late night snacks before the pub crawl. We’ll also have a farewell breakfast on the 28th. For other meals, all cottages and apartments on the grounds include kitchens for self-catering, and there are also lovely local restaurants in town if you’d like to explore.
All wedding guests are welcome to arrive at Belle Isle Castle at 9:00 am on May 27, 2027 and enjoy breakfast with us before the ceremony. For guests staying elsewhere and having breakfast separately, we kindly ask that you arrive no later than 12:30 pm, as parking and seating can take a bit of time. This will also give everyone a chance to mingle and catch up before the ceremony begins.
