How will I get to the venue from Reykjavik?

Answer

If you need to find public transportation to the venue there are public busses http://www.straeto.is/ driving from "Mjódd" bus terminal. Take busses 51 or 52 and get off at Hella, the price is (currently) 3430ISK / 169DKK. Friday the 11th: at 7:59 / 12:59 / 14:59 / 17:44 Saturday the 12th: at 8:09 / 11:29 The trip takes c.a. 1hour 30min. Call us on the way up and have us come get you at Hella (15 min away).

Where will I stay?

Answer

We've compiled a few hotel options, but you are welcome to stay wherever you want. You are also welcome to stay at the venue address in a tent or camper.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be sober adults who can drive to hotels in a pinch. There will however not be a shuttle service as such. Be aware that public transportation isn't a thing out where the crows turn, as the danes say. Guests may be able to make arrangements with a local taxi service in advance. Is there a dress code?

Answer

We like to look fancy, and would love for you to do so as well - whatever that means for you! Colour is always appreciated! We're hoping for the ceremony to be outside, but in case of poor weather we will move in. It'll be warm enough in the barn for fancy dresses. Remember sweater or jacket for evening. Also be aware if you're wearing stiletto heels, you may sink into the grass!
