Their journey started in the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta airport on February 22nd, 2018. Bella was all set to embark upon a trip with friends, while Elliott was finishing up a trip for work. Their paths crossed in a Delta lounge. Bella thought it was by happenstance that they ended up sitting next to each other and sparking up a conversation. Elliott will tell you there was nothing coincidental about his seat selection. Their planes took them on their respective ways, but both had a sneaking suspicion it wouldn’t be the last time they saw each other. They occasionally traded messages and exchanged songs they liked, but things got real after a job transition and a move to Charlotte. Their fates were sealed after Bella met Elliott's dog, Oscar. She has since pushed the limits of how much affection can be given to any singular creature. They began dating in late 2019. Elliott assumed they were official, Bella removed any lingering uncertainty when they had the “boyfriend/girlfriend talk” December 22nd, nearly two years after they first crossed paths. Since that time, they’ve set out on a new life journey together. From various National Park visits to galivanting around Portugal to wineries in Paso Robles, they’ve shared a wealth of experiences. Through those experiences and so much more, they’ve grown inseparable and convicted that their lives are more enriched together. That conviction manifested into a proposal on March 20th, 2024. They were under contract on the house in which they intended to start a life together. Their real estate agent managed to get the sellers out of the house so that Bella and Elliott could “take measurements” to see how the furniture would fit. Shortly after entering the house, Bella realized that furniture had nothing to do with their visit, and they made their engagement official. That evening, they celebrated their engagement with a dinner at Customshop, a place that has come to hold special meaning for them, and where Bella and Elliott will be hosting their evening wedding celebration. The pair is deeply excited to celebrate their matrimony with their closest friends and family, and can’t wait to share in their love with those that matter most.
