There is VERY limited parking, so we prefer that you do not drive to the venue itself. We will have a shuttle from the Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School to the venue. Please park at the school and be mindful that school rules still apply in the parking lot. The shuttle will run between 2 pm and- 3 pm for pick up and again from 11 pm - 12:15 am for returns. There is no public transportation in town other than car services (Uber, Lyft, etc). There are two local taxi services available. There is a bus from NYC to Windham, NY. The closest airport is in Albany, NY (1 hour drive from venue). This is primarily a ski town with numerous hotels and resorts available, but we highly recommend reaching out to them early, as they can book up quickly for the fall foliage. There are several Airbnb's that are very close.

When should I RSVP by?

Final RSVPs are due May 12th, 2026. If you do not RSVP by this date, please bring a folding chair and a sandwich :) Please let us know if you have any issues RSVPing

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Due to limited parking we highly suggest you park (or walk) at Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School (5411 NY-23 Windham, NY 12496). We will have a shuttle making rounds from the school to the venue from 2 pm - 3 pm. If you are driving please arrive by 3:00 pm, as the road will promptly close at 3:15 pm to ensure a private ceremony.

Is there a dress code?

The dress code is formal/black tie optional (floor length dresses and full suits, preferably darker colors). How often do you get to be dolled up to the nines with friends and family in a beautiful area? We do suggest a chunkier heel and lighter fabrics, as we will be outside!

As much as we would love to say yes, unfortunately, we are at venue capacity. We will find time to see your plus one later :)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

There is VERY limited parking and it will most likely be filled before we begin. Please park at the Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School (5411 NY-23, Windham, NY 12496) and a shuttle service will be available from 2 pm - 3 pm. Return trips will be from 11 pm - 12:15 am. If you cannot take the shuttle, please arrange for a car service or car pool with other guests and be mindful of the limited parking situation. We aim to reserve parking for guests with accessibility issues.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome to attend our wedding celebration! There is a kids meal option at dinner and plenty of space for them to run around. There is no fence/barrier around the lake so please be mindful of accidental swimming.
