Question

What if I am feeling under the weather, but don’t want to miss your big day?

Answer

We love and appreciate the fact that you don’t want to miss our special day, but please - if you are feeling ill (fever, cough, runny nose, etc.) please stay home. We not only want you to feel better, but we also want to keep all guests safe as well. We will also stream the wedding via facebook live for those who are unable to make it!

Where is Berryton, KS?

Answer

Berryton, KS is just southeast of Topeka, KS! It's a small country town with a lot of character. Only about an hour way from Kansas City & about a couple hours from Southeast, KS!

Where will the ceremony and the reception take place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception area are actually in the same location right next to each other! When driving down the country road, you'll see a large sign on the right side of the road that says "CreekSide at Berryton". Turn right there and there will be signs directing you where to park! Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Pending weather conditions - The ceremony will most likely be outdoors. Permitting snow and/or rain, we would move the ceremony indoors. The reception will be indoor and outdoor! There is an option to eat inside or outside as there are picnic tables on the outside for guests to enjoy the outdoors!

Are kids invited?

Answer

Of course! We have many new additions in our family & couldn't imagine a special day without them. Just a reminder though: there will be an open bar, so if you want a night out with you and your partner, free alcohol is available!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Of course! We've already factored in that many of our guests will assumingly bring a plus one!

I'm coming from out of town. Is there a hotel near by for me and my +1 to stay?

Answer

YES! Our venue and reception is a couple miles into the country, but once you feel like leaving, and maybe you've had a few drinks too many, check out the Travel tab for hotel booking information with special rates!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Nope! The one thing we do recommend though is checking the weather a few days before the wedding and dress accordingly. It is in late October, and because we live in Kansas, our weather is super unpredictable!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head right over to the reception hall where we will be serving drinks and finger foods.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you are unable to make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", that way we can plan accordingly.

We created a registry on this website for easy access, but please don't feel obligated to order directly from Zola! We are also registering at Bed, Bath, & Beyond, and Target to give our guests plenty of options!
