We’re getting married!

Please note that we will begin the ceremony at 4:00 p.m. to allow time for photography before sunset. Make note on your calendars that the time will begin at 4:00 pm. (not the 5pm start time printed on the invitations). See you all there!

Two young 20 something's who lived in the same town for a few years without knowing each other just happen to be on the same highway at the same time. My roommate & I at the time were getting prepared for my 22nd birthday party. We decided to make a trip to Joplin, MO from Pittsburg, KS one Saturday afternoon to shop for new cute clothes and get our nails done. We leave the nail salon mid-afternoon and begin driving back to Pittsburg to get ready for the party. As we're traveling along on the highway, we happen to see a grey Toyota Camry in front of us with a few guys all waving at my roommate & I. They attempted to give us their number by hand signals, but it was too far away for us to see. Then all of a sudden we see one of the guys in the passenger seat hang out the window with a ripped part of a beer box with their number on it. I finally got a picture of the number, and we ended up texting them and asking them to come to our party that night. Low & behold, they showed up! Cole showed up with a group of friends, we met, and the next day I texted Cole and the rest is history. <3

Recent events regarding COVID-19 have overwhelmed many of us with uncertainty. During this unpredictable time, we have decided to move forward with our full wedding celebration with all our friends and family. In the interest of safety, please participate according to your comfort level of Covid exposure. The ceremony will take place at an outdoor venue with extra attention given to cleaning and sanitizing practices. We respect the need to feel safe, so please participate at the level in which you feel most comfortable – mask or no mask, attend in person or congratulate our union from your home. We completely understand if you are unable to make it due to travel constraints or simply by feeling unsafe. Your timely RSVP is necessary so that accurate numbers for attendance can be planned for food, drink and seating. This can also be done by clicking on the RSVP tab at the top of the page.
