While in Hattiesburg you have the opportunity to walk around The University of Southern Miss's beautiful campus, visit the newly renovated Hattiesburg Zoo, enjoy the numerous walking trails around the city such as the 41 mile LongLeaf Trace trail that goes through Southern's campus, visit Downtown museums, stores, and restaurants including our famous Lucky Rabbit warehouse, or have a stellar time at the Hattiesburg escape room!

Gulfport / Biloxi

Gulfport, MS

Gulfport and Biloxi reside on the Mississippi Gulf Coast 65 miles south of Hattiesburg. Here, you can see the ocean, walk in the sand, visit the aquarium, drive along the coast and look at the majestic houses rising 20 feet above you, see water markers of past hurricanes, and walk through the casinos/hotels. There is a Ferris Wheel, Top Golf, and other carnival like activities in Biloxi that stretch from the Beau Rivage Casino to Margaritaville. There is a mall as well as many local southern seafood places along the coast.

New Orleans

New Orleans, LA

New Orleans is 110 miles south of Hattiesburg. Visit the French Quarter to get the true southern experience! From the food to walking Jackson Square in front of Saint Louis Cathedral to seeing all the local artists, musicians, and dancers, New Orleans is a fantastic time! You can sign up for tours from historical sites and history of the city to vampires, witches, and voodoo tours including mausoleums. There are many museums, Mardi Gras stores, bars, escape rooms, restaurants, and more bars throughout the French Quarter; You definitely won't be bored! Don't forget your beignets from Café Du Monde!
