Our paths first crossed in 2017 at swim practice. What started as a shared lane in the pool quickly turned into a friendship built on early mornings, endless sets, and plenty of laughs between laps. Over the next couple of years, we became close friends, always encouraging each other, both in and out of the water. On January 19, 2019, that friendship turned into something more when we went on our first official date and began our journey together (thanks mom!). We were side by side until 2020, when Andrew graduated high school and headed to NC State. With that, we began our first big challenge... long distance. In 2021, Isabella graduated high school and started at the University of Georgia. We spent the next several years balancing school and life in two different states. Those five years of long distance taught us patience, commitment, and how to make the most of every moment together! Whether it was weekend visits, late-night FaceTimes, or cheering each other on from miles away. In 2024, Andrew graduated from college, and in 2025, Isabella followed. That May, we finally closed the distance and moved into our first apartment together. Just a few weeks later, on May 25, 2025, during a magical trip to Maui, Andrew got down on one knee and asked Isabella to marry him. The ocean waves, golden sunset, and sheer joy of the moment made it a memory we’ll cherish forever. From the first time we met on the pool deck to this next chapter in our lives, our story has been one of love, growth, and unwavering support. We’re so excited to start our forever this time, with no miles between us!!
