Question

When should we arrive to Sonoma?

Answer

We would love for you to join us for our Welcome Party on Thursday evening. Please select a flight that arrives Thursday afternoon or earlier so you have time to freshen up and hop on our 5:30pm shuttle to Buena Vista Winery. Check in at El Dorado Hotel is at 3:00pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our Wedding is black-tie attire. We ask that ladies wear long gowns and gentleman wear tuxedos and formal suits. Our Welcome Party is semi-formal. Ladies, please wear a midi-dress or a dressy jumpsuit. Gentleman, please wear a sport coat or blazer.

Question

Is it an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We kindly ask that you fully unplug, put away your phones, and be present in the moment with us. We have an amazing photography & videography team that will be capturing our special day!

Question

When does the wedding end & when does the last shuttle leave?

Answer

Our reception ends at midnight and the shuttles will be doing their last round shortly after that. We have the shuttles reserved all night, so you may catch a ride home at any time. Just head out to the roundabout and let the driver know you are ready to go - whether there is one guest on the shuttle or its completely full, the driver will happily drop you back off at Sonoma Plaza whenever you'd like. You are also welcome to call an Uber or Lyft if you'd prefer this over using our shuttle!

Question

When & where does the shuttle pick us up?

Answer

Exact timing to come... The shuttle will be picking up and dropping off guests at the Sonoma Plaza roundabout: 453 1st St E, Sonoma, CA 95476.

Question

Do I have to take the shuttle?

Answer

No! You are welcome to find your own transportation, whether that be a rental car or an Uber on Thursday and/or Friday. Please make sure to answer the prompt correctly on the RSVP section so we can get a proper headcount when reserving shuttles.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Sadly, we are unable to accommodate additional guests due to limited space at our venue. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

What is there to do in Sonoma?

Answer

There are many things to do in Sonoma! Start your morning off with a stroll around town and grab a coffee at Sunflower Caffé Basque Boulangerie Café, or Homegrown Bagels. If you're feeling adventurous, check out the Sonoma Overlook Trail and take in the beautiful sights. Enjoy some wine and charcuterie at Pangloss Cellars, Roche Winery, Sojourn Cellars, Highway 12 Winery Tasting Room, Cochon Tasting Bar, or Fulcrum Wines to name a few near the Plaza. Or, take advantage of a short uber ride to one of the hundreds of beautiful vineyards in Sonoma and Napa. We love Chateau St Jean & Artesa, but you can’t go wrong. We are in Wine Country, after all!
