We might be biased, but this is one of the best national parks around. Enter through the Twentynine Palms entrance right in town to avoid long lines and busy roads. We love hiking through the yucca trees, Keys View, and the cholla garden.
Our friends Chris and Marissa have a wonderful Mustang Sanctuary just down the way from Twentynine Palms! Message them to hang with their horses and goats, go on an amazing desert trail ride or spend the weekend there if you want to try out the off grid experience in one of their glamping tents!
Yummy food, very solid bar with tons of options!
Local bakery. Need I say more?
Cute little dive bar in the heart of Twentynine Palms.
A town that is literally an old western film set! Take a stroll through the dirt streets and check out the sights. Stop for a drink and snack and Pappy and Harriet's while you're there.
Fun store with local artisan goods, cute house wares, friendly staff.
Bowling Alley just a couple towns over.
Our absolute favorite lunch spot, great for small or big groups. They have drinks too! Isabel's favorite is the grilled cheese/tomato soup & country potatoes, DeMarcus loves the corned beef hash! Warning - they close at 3pm!
A trip to the desert is not complete without us stopping by Mojave Flea TP! Our favorite place to shop tons and tons of local brands and artisan goods. Warning, you can easily spend a long time shopping here!
