Dain had one focus when it came to the proposal: surprising me. 
I am definitely the planner in our relationship and I hate surprises, so I really didn't know if he'd be able to pull off a surprise! I thought I would at least have some idea that it was happening, but he totally caught me off guard. It was amazing - the best surprise ever!

On June 8th, what I thought was a normal Thursday night, turned out to be the night I’d been waiting for since 2020. A couple months earlier, a friend of mine that is a photographer in Fargo asked me if I would be willing to be a model for one of her upcoming photoshoots. It sounded super fun, so I said I'd do it!

We spent hours downtown Fargo taking pictures before we went to our last location - the terrace of the Jasper Hotel. I went to change into my dress and when I came out, there Dain was. I was absolutely stunned!

Now we get to celebrate our love with friends and family at the same place that I said "yes"! We can't wait to see you all!
