Alcohol will be provided at the park day. The reception will feature wine with dinner as well as an open bar featuring premium beer, wine, and spirits in addition to cocktails.

Yes. April 25, 2025. Please plan to RSVP before then.

Will there be transportation provided from Hotel Kabuki to the park day or the reception?

Answer

No, but Foreign Cinema and Pioneer Lodge are only 10 and 15 minutes away from Hotel Kabuki, respectively (by Uber/Lyft).

Yes – we are catering lunch from one of our favorite local spots.

Where exactly within Golden Gate Park is the park day going to be held?

Answer

The park day will be at the Pioneer Log Cabin Picnic Ground.

What should I wear to the park day?

Answer

There is no formal dress code, so we suggest prioritizing comfort! San Francisco spring days can be cool and breezy or warm and sunny, with some featuring a bit (or a lot) of both. That said, the park tends to be foggy, so please bring at least a light jacket. Sun protection is also a good idea!

What should I do if I don’t make it into the hotel block?

Answer

If there are no more rooms available through the hotel block, reach out to Kabuki directly and mention our wedding—they may still be able to offer you a discounted stay. If, however, Kabuki is completely booked, please consider The Hotel Kimpton-Japantown and the Fairmont as alternatives.
