Travel
Airfare:
It is recommended to fly into Portland (PDX). Tillamook is about an hour and thirty minuets from there. Despite the drive PDX is the closest airport.
Places to Stay:
The Oregon Coast is composed of many coastal towns located close to each other. While there are some hotel options in the area, Airbnbs are recommended in Rockaway, Bay City, or Garibaldi. If you are set on a hotel we recommend The Hotel Garibaldi (Tillamook hotels are not advised).
Driving:
Firstly, there are no Uber, Lyft, or ride share options out on the coast. Please rent a car if needed, or carpool with friends and family. Secondly, highway six, between Portland and Tillamook, is mountainous, full of curves, and quite bumpy. Please drive with caution, and preferably in daytime visibility for your safety.
