Eastern Iowa Airport (CID)
The Eastern Iowa Airport (CID) is in Cedar Rapids - about 25 minutes from Iowa City. Alternatively, you may fly into Des Moines International Airport (DSM). However, DSM is about 2 hours from Iowa City. Therefore, we recommend flying into CID.
Rental Car
Uber, Lyft, Taxis, or Rental Cars
Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, and Iowa City have ubers, lyfts, and taxis available to transport you from airports to your hotel. If you plan on staying a few days and exploring town, we recommend getting a rental car. Rental cars are available from both airports.

There are plenty of Airbnb's in Iowa City if you would rather stay in one of these, as opposed to a hotel we have blocked. We cannot recommend any particular place to stay, however. If you have your eye on a particular Airbnb but are unsure if it is a good location, just contact us and we will help you out.
