We love Wrightsville Beach! We've spent lots of time here, and been to many different spots on the island. For a quick cup of coffee (or Phebe's favorite chai latte in Wilmington), stop by The Workshop. Right next to that is Tower 7, a yummy tex-mex place. ** This is where we had our first double date!** For Isaac's favorite chicken salad sandwich, stop by Wrightsville's iconic market, Robert's Grocery. Head to the counter in the back, and they'll make it for you then and there! For a coffee shop with the most gorgeous view in town, stop by Sunday's. If you're still around on Sunday morning, you can head across the street to the Crystal Pier. Under this pier at 7:30 am is sweet service called Surf Church! Bring a picnic blanket or chair, and go ready for free coffee, donuts, a message about God, and a beautiful time soaking up God's glorious creation!
This is where we had our first date, so it's a special spot to us. Since then, however, we've decided that it's not actually our favorite Japanese food... We'll recommend Yosake instead if you're looking for some great food!
Isaac's #1 spot on our Taco Quest!
Phebe's #1 spot on our Taco Quest!
Southport is filled with some really fun and quirky hidden gems, and we highly recommend you take some time to explore this sweet town! If you walk along N Howe St and Bay St, you'll hit most of our favorite spots. The Christmas House is an adventure in and of itself... we recommend walking around to see each of the rooms, then heading to the back and taking inventory of their saltwater taffy flavors. If you've never tried saltwater taffy, you totally should! Bullfrog Corner was one of Phebe's all time favorite toy stores growing up, and she still likes going in and looking around, just for fun! North Carolina Maritime Museum is a pretty cool museum to go to, and it's right in the area! Southport Coffee Co & Kitchen has a fabulous reuben sandwich, and Phebe always like to get one when she's in Southport. Enjoy a stroll along the water or through the neighborhoods- it's all so beautiful! A short drive will take you to Indochine Express- a great Thai restaurant we both love
